Dance class helps to form proper posture and alignment. Spatial awareness is typical built at a young age and dance can help develop this too.
When it comes to mental benefits, dance is good for many things! There are studies that show the physical activity of dance can help lower the chances of dementia. It can improve communication through non-verbal skills. Dance also helps to build skills in following direction, focusing on a teacher and cooperation in the classroom.
How does dance benefit dancers emotionally? This activity can help to lower stress and anxiety levels while also promoting self-confidence. Dance provides an emotional outlet while releasing endorphins to improve your overall mood.
